There is some information but overall it's minimal and tells you to buy the bigger program. I don't like paying for basically a commercial.

Solidly good advice that's easy to follow

I got this book before I got Fitness: Achieve Your Dream Body by Stephen Williams, and it's hard to say which I like better. `How to Lose Belly Fat Fast' sounded pretty generic and improbable at first, but when I started reading it I began to think that the author had the right idea. By breaking down your weight loss goals into 30 days you can make it much easier to achieve.
I am a goal oriented person, and I need some sort of plan or guidelines to follow or I just get way off track. This book is easy to follow and full of good, practical tips. Some of it is the same info that you get in other fitness books, but there was enough unique information to make it worth it for me. I thought the author's writing style was easy to follow and conversational, not preachy or bossy.
The book starts by addressing the causes of body fat, and the reasons why it's just not healthy or attractive, but we already know that. Then it goes on to give advice on boosting your metabolism and burning belly fat fast. It promises that you can lose 30 pounds of belly fat in 30 days, and I am not sure if that is possible, but I definitely think that you would lose some significant weight by implementing these tips.
There are tips for healthy eating, the right exercises to do, and the best ways to boost your metabolism so that your body burns fat even when you are resting. I love that idea! The best thing about this short book is that if you don't want to follow it all for 30 days you don't have to. You can just pick the best bits and try them and still lose some weight, even though it won't be nearly as much as if you follow the plan.
I have bought a ton of diet books before, but never one that combined diet and fitness quite the way this one does. It gives it all to you in one neat little package that anybody can manage, even busy people like me who can't find the time or the money for a gym membership. I like the fact that the tips don't cost a lot of money to implement, because I am broke most of the time. And I like the way I feel after trying these tips for only a week. Already I have more energy and have lost a whopping 7 pounds, though I suspect most of that was water weight. Still, any amount off is good in my books!
I give this nifty little book 4 stars and recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to follow get fit plan.

THE Weight Loss Book of the year!

"How to Lose Belly Fat Fast" is THE weight loss book of the year! I started reading this book last night and was so pleased with all of the information I learned. As I delved deeper into the book, I started to learn more things...not only about the proper way to lose weight, but about myself too. In the book metabolism is mentioned; according to the novel, metabolism the rate that your body turns food into fuel. If you're thin and energetic, more than likely you have a fast metabolism; I fall into this category. In the end, this book ended up providing great diet restrictions, such as fat, hydrogenated oil, processed short-chain carbs, and telling us to dodge anything white. Also, it included a very informative video about "6 Foods to Never Eat"...I was surprised by a the foods that were mentioned, especially the margarine; who knew that margarine could cause birth defects? My most favorite part about this book is the exercises, the workout plan, and a workout schedule that is provided. The morning session itself is only 7 1/2 minutes long, and that's including rest time; I'm definitely going to put all of these tips to use. I highly recommend this book to anyone who's not only trying to lose weight, but people who want to be healthy as well...this book is the place to start!!
