A Future History handbook for grassroots politics

The twins who first came to light in Brothers Lost - A Novel & then The Patriot Element survive into a very different future led by a rogue US Senator bent upon revamping Congress & returning America to greatness.
The first few chapters consist of the author's Introduction & then a recounting of the origins of The Element, its heroes & its intentions before setting up how they came to the notice of a member of Congress.
"Bull" Caruthers hails from Minnesota & his congressional peers consider him a hayseed with nothing to say they want to hear which sets Bull's back up, particularly after his young son is kidnapped & a ransom extorted. That 's when Bull remembers a tattered business card his father had & calls the phone number. Within in days his plea for help is answered & the child safely returned with no fuss or muss. Which intrigues Bull no end.
Ever the politician, he begins to put 2&2 together for a grassroots awakening of independent Americans & the taking back of the honor & greatness that was their inheritance.
Bull sets in motion a convening of the Element's independent thinkers & old-fashioned patriots in the north of his state which can only be reached via plane & boat, to a splendidly equipped center & catered conference where stories are told, ideas of the future floated, intentions uttered & oaths sworn.
Annals of the Elements reads like a community organizing manual, however, this community is of a rather different, or perhaps a throwback, variety.
If the author could get this series recorded, the energy & vigor of his proponents & ideas would leap off the pages, & the politically correct lingo would add the humor.
