Concepts detailed in this text have become pillars of my thinking. Every year I purchase several textbooks to educate myself on topics that interest me. Bio-Inspired Artificial Intelligence balances delivering conceptual detail with real world integrated examples to aid in deep and successful comprehension of the topics. The text answers questions, informs and prompts one ask broader questions. Incredibly, it is actually very enjoyable to read; I think this may have to do with the good writing.

As an A.I. developer myself, I have to admit this book is perfect. This book summarizes countless journal papers from biological to computer science journals. It gives you the research trend and how they missed something and what kind of A.I. you could develop for your own project.
If you want to develop something they completely missed, you need this book and read through entire chapters. This would be better than download and read hundred-hundred papers from IEEE or any journal publishers.

and clever presentation of the field. The authors have made a terrific job and I strongly recommend you this book as one of the best (probably the best) introduction to this topic. Figures and explanations are very well chosen and the level is easy to follow. 5 starts!!
